The Fairies and Elves are coming! Join us for our 3rd Annual Fairy & Elf Festival on Saturday, April 14, 1:00-4:00 p.m. Spend a magical day of family fun at the Athens-Clarke County Library as we share stories, fairy house building, crafts, shadow puppets, and more. For ages 3-11 and their caregiver. In Multipurpose Rooms. Costumes are encouraged for all events.

All magical creatures are welcome. Learn the do's and don'ts of building houses for the wee folk and make your own unique fairy house to take home. Fairy houses are made of all-natural items such as leaves, sticks, flowers and acorns. Some supplies will be provided, but participants should bring supplies from their own home as well.

Mr. Damon's Shadow Puppet Theater Presents: Fairy Tales of Old Russia
1:00 p.m.
In Multipurpose Rooms.
Join us for a double feature shadow puppet show with live music! Journey with Prince Ivan on the back of a grey wolf in Firebird, then quest with Vasilisa the brave in search of the chicken legged hut of the Baba Yaga.

Fairy Tale: A True Story (film)

What do you have in common with a crocodile? Your beautiful smile, of course! Come and discover how a crocodile takes care of her teeth and learn how to take care of yours. Join us on Thursday, April 19 at 3:30 p.m. for stories and fun crafts. For children ages 4-8 and their caregiver. With Mr. Evan. In Storyroom.

Storytime and programs will be on break from April 23 through May 18. We will resume Saturday, May 19 with our annual Family Fun Day!
