Build a Better World with your Imagination - June 2017

Build a better World SRP 2017Read poster featuring Mr Evan as Willy Wonka

Summer is here and we are having a blast at the library! The Athens-Clarke County Library Children's Department has magically transformed into Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory and we are "Building a Better World" with pure imagination. Come in to see all your favorite characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, sign up for the Summer Reading Program and join us for our amazing programs. We began the summer with our annual Family Fun Day and kicked off the month of June with a Beauty and the Beast Ball. Don't worry, though, because we have so much more fun planned for June!

Many of our friends have already picked up their Summer Reading Logs and it's not too late to pick up yours! The Summer Reading Program is so much fun so you don't want to miss out. Grab a reading log from the children's desk and get prizes for reading! We have some amazing prizes this year and when you finish your log you can pick out a book to keep. Don't forget to enter our Willy Wonka "Golden Ticket" raffle each week to win awesome passes to local fun attractions.

We have some awesome programs this month that you don't want to miss:
