Athens GA Homeschooling: This is the most active local homeschool group. This list is for the sharing of homeschooling activities, legislation, classes, etc, in Athens, Georgia and the surrounding communities. Coordinates local parent meetings and group activities.

Moms of Homeschool Teens Athens GA: A list for parents of homeschooling teens in Athens, Ga and surrounding areas, to connect with other families for activities and field trips geared toward teens. It is a casual group and families attend outings as schedules and resources allow.

Classical Conversations Bogart: "Classical Conversations Bogart is a growing Christian Classical Homeschooling Community. Our mission is to know God and make him known. Georgia Cyber Academy: For families interested in learning more about GCA to determine if it will be a good solution for their educational needs.The Georgia Cyber Academy (GCA), a program of Odyssey School, is a statewide K-8 virtual charter school, which launched September 2007. K12 Inc. is the curriculum provider to the school. GCA is public school with the benefit of teaching students virtually outside of the traditional brick & mortar school building. A Non-Homeschooling group.

Creative Home Educators : Creative Home Educators is a group of eclectic home educators. Many of our members practice an Earth-based form of spirituality, but we welcome any kindred spirits. We have Christian, Unitarian Universalist, Buddhist, Baha'i, Wiccan, Native American, atheist, and agnostic members. We come together for play dates, field trips, cooperative learning experiences, and support with home schooling issues.

GA Christian Homeschoolers: A list for GA Homeschoolers to come and talk about their experiences with homeschooling and ask questions. We can discuss learning and the challenges that go along with our decision to keep our children home. We can share ideas for field trips, offer exciting web sites, or other things of interst to Georgia homeschoolers. If you are considering homeschooling, this is a great place to start. This list is geared toward Christian homeschoolers, although all are welcome.

GA Homeschoolers: A support group for residents of Georgia who have chosen to homeschool their children. We will have organized events and field trips, but most of all we are here to support each other in this adventure.

GA Unschoolers: This group was created to support and connect unschoolers in Georgia. Please join us and use this list to make area unschooling connections. Share your families unschooling stories, discuss unschooling issues, share and read unschooling articles and quotes, plan and attend field trips and get-togethers, and check out our unschooling books/website recommendations.

Georgia On The Cheap: Georgia On The Cheap is a field trip group for HOMESCHOOLING families in Georgia. We welcome homeschoolers from all over the state, though we will be concentrating on the area around Atlanta and north. All of our field trips will be free or low cost, with a maximum cost of $8 per person. These are informal trips, meaning you generally won't have to pay in advance, just let us know to expect you and meet us there.
