Film screening and discussion: Knights to Kings: A Journey to Ethiopia

Join Chess and Community for a screening of the documentary, Knights to Kings: A Journey to Ethiopia, followed by an open dialogue about youth engagement in Athens. The film follows eight local teen boys as they journey to Ethiopia, led by Athens poet and community activist Lemuel LaRoche, also known as Life the Griot. You will learn about local nonprofit organizations and community programs that focus on youth development. This event is free and family-friendly. Families with teens are encouraged to attend. In Appleton Auditorium.
