Live at the Library - Candlehill Lions

Picture of the band Candlehill Lions

Sunday, December 3, 2017, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Formed in 2015, Candlehill Lions is a folksy bluegrass and Celtic music mishmash consisting of four UGA students; Nicholas Lindell, John Cooper, Jake Mortensen, and Clare Nunley. Drawing music mostly from Nick's fiddling background, the group also takes inspiration from their classical music training at UGA and wide jazz influences. They enjoy traditional fiddle tunes and newly composed ones in the style of Jeremy Kittel, including some of their own. As multi-instrumentalists, CHL enjoys messing around with different ensembles and sounds and making fools of themselves.
