The Book Thief by Markus Zusak: Oglethorpe County Library’s Adult Book Discussion Group will be meeting to discuss the extraordinary New York Times #1 Bestseller, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. The year is 1939. The location is Nazi Germany. The narrator is Death. The protagonist is 11 year old orphan, Liesel, who begins stealing books before she even knows how to read. It is the “unforgettable story of the ability of books to feed your soul.”
