To conclude our Adult Summer Reading Program this year, Oglethorpe County Library’s Adult book discussion group, Open Book, will welcome Georgia Author Denise Weimer for a special author Q&A session on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11:30am.

We will be discussing her first book in the Georgia Gold Series, Sautee Shadows. This sweeping saga of four families, whose lives intertwine through romance, adventure, and murder, linking antebellum Georgia's coast and mountains during the economic expansion of the 1830s has become a favorite for both history buffs and people who have a passion for reading novels set in Georgia.

Denise will have this book as well as the additional books in the Georgia Gold Series available for purchase and you will have the opportunity to have them signed. Books will be available for $15.00 each, 3 for $42.00 or 4 for $48.00. As always, the library will have copies of Sautee Shadows available for check out at the circulation desk two months prior to the event. Just remember to bring your valid PINES library card or stop by to register for a free library card today.
