Steve Sweetster artwork up at the library! The beautiful upcycled metal owl titled "Stoneheart" now looks over our garden area outside.

Also, in the display cases inside you will find beautiful watercolors with inspirational messages by local artist Yvonne Crowe. A message from the artist...

"Numerous book pages were tabbed for reference to quotes or thoughts I found inspirational, encouraging, or amusing.  I decided to move the words from the black and white pages of books into visibility as art pieces through the use of color and calligraphy.

Most designs were created by playing with watercolors moving them around on the paper and cutting out interesting shapes they created.  Lettering was then added. A few pieces are lettered onto beautiful stationary. One piece is painted with acrylic and overlaid with vellum paper to tone down the bright colors.  The mat openings were cut to simulate church stained glass windows.

Thank you for accepting these pieces for display.   I am thrilled."
