Teen Advisory Board
Monday, November 4, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Teen Advisory Board is a volunteer team of teens that meet once a month. Members make book suggestions for the library, help plan teen programs such as the annual Haunted House or other exciting upcoming events, and assist with cutting, folding, assembling, or other projects.
We will discuss what's popular in teen books, magazines, music, and movies, and/or decorate the teen space in the library. Snacks are always provided at the meetings!
If you are interested in becoming a member, please fill out the TAB application located at the front circulation desk. Ages 11-18.
Affordable Health Care Act Seminar
Monday, November 4, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Free seminars facilitated by Cassandra Tucker from the University of Georgia. The seminars will answer questions about the cost, types of coverage, available tax credits, and registration requirements for the new health care law. The seminars are free and open to the public.
Register by November 2 for the Nov. 4 seminar.
