Dr. Douglas Ealey, a sociology professor at the University of North Georgia will lead the five discussions focusing on the topic of “Pathways of Faith.” March 4th discussion will be on the book, The Story of the Qur’an. March 25th discussion will be on the book, The Art of the Hajj. Registration for the discussion is required and limited to 25. Participants will checkout a copy of the book with their PINES card.
The Library received the Muslim Journeys Bookshelf, a collection of 26 books related to the people, places, history, faith, and cultures of Muslims around the world, including those within the United States. The bookshelf is provided by the American Library Association and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

We will discuss the importance of zines and the basics of what they are while we create our own! Learn several different types of binding and the steps of self-publishing so you can become a published zine creator! All materials and popcorn provided. Ages 11-18 ONLY.
