Just Dance for Teens!

By popular demand, we will be having a JUST DANCE night! Play the popular Wii game and dance your cares away! We will have lots of drinks and snacks to keep your energy up. Teens ages 11-18 only.

Let's Talk About It: Muslim Journeys Reading & Book Discussion Series

Muslim Journeys: Pathways of Faith

Tuesday, January 21, 6:30 p.m.

Dr. Douglas Ealey, a sociology professor at the University of North Georgia will lead the five discussions focusing on the topic of “Pathways of Faith.” Our first discussion will explore “The Children of Abraham: Judaism, Christianity, Islam", by F.E. Peters. Registration for the discussion is required and limited to 25. Participants will checkout a copy of the book with their PINES card.

The Library received the Muslim Journeys Bookshelf, a collection of 26 books related to the people, places, history, faith, and cultures of Muslims around the world, including those within the United States. The bookshelf is provided by the American Library Association and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
