Computer Class - Introduction to Gmail
Tuesday, December 10, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
This free class is an introduction to using Email and is suitable for anyone who needs to setup an email account or just needs more instruction on how to use an existing email account. During this class, we will focus on how to compose a new message, how to open incoming mail, how to view, send, and forward attachments in an email, and how to create an address book. We will also explore the file system associated with your email account and discuss how to better organize and file email that you will want to keep for future reference. During this time, we will discuss what spam is, how it works, and the best way to eliminate it from flooding your inbox. If you feel unsure of how to use your existing email account or want to learn the possibilities of having an email account, join us. Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
All toddlers and preschool aged children are invited to attend our Wednesday morning Storytime at the Oglethorpe County Library. Children will listen to fun stories, sing silly songs, play exciting learning games, and make simple, colorful crafts. It is a great time for your toddler to meet new friends and learn about the exciting books that the library has to offer while becoming ready to read. Daycare, preschool, and homeschool groups are always welcome to join us! During the month of December, we will enjoy books about things that make this holiday season so special:
