Oglethorpe County Library’s adult book discussion group, Open Book, will meet on Tuesday, July 29 at 11:30am to discuss an epic and gripping tale of catastrophe and survival. "The Passage" by Justin Cronin is the tale of Amy,abandoned at the age of six, who holds the key to bringing back the world after a deadly virus has struck it. Copies of this book are available for check-out from the library with a valid PINES library card. Registration is not required to attend this discussion. Do you want to learn how to use your iPad, Kindle, or MP3 player? Bring your questions about these projects or your electronic devices, and leave with answers. At this question and answer session, we will help you with all of your electronic and/or technology questions, ranging from how to download e-books through the library system to how to upload pictures from your digital camera to your computer. Class size is limited to 4 per class, and you must register in order to attend this absolutely free class by calling us at 706-743-8817.
