Computer Class - Q&A Session

Drawing of a computer.

Thursday, December 19, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Do you need help creating a flyer for a yard sale, printing mailing labels, creating a bulletin or flyer or brochure for your church or organization, or some other kind of computer project? Do you want to learn to use your iPad, Kindle, or MP3 player? Bring your questions about these projects or your electronic devices, and leave with the answers. At this question and answer session, we will help you with all of your electronic and/or technology needs, ranging from how to download e-books through the library system to how to upload your photos from your digital camera to your computer. Class size is limited to 4 per class, and you must register in order to attend this absolutely free class by calling us at 706-743-8817. If your questions involve an electronic device, don’t forget to bring it!

Story Time

Drawing of a tree in the snow.

Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

All toddlers and preschool aged children are invited to attend our Wednesday morning Storytime at the Oglethorpe County Library. Children will listen to fun stories, sing silly songs, play exciting learning games, and make simple, colorful crafts. It is a great time for your toddler to meet new friends and learn about the exciting books that the library has to offer while becoming ready to read. Daycare, preschool, and homeschool groups are always welcome to join us! During the month of December, we will enjoy books about things that make this holiday season so special:

  • December 18: Gingerbread Men
  • December 25: CLOSED
