Request for Proposal - ISP - Athens Regional Library System

The Athens Regional Library System is seeking a 1 year contract for Internet Access to begin July 1, 2017 and run through June 30, 2018 or a 1 year contract with two (2) one-year extensions. The reason we are seeking a 1 year contract is that we anticipate joining a statewide consortium beginning for E-Rate funding year 2018.

Our goal is selecting an Internet Service Provider that can provide Internet Access with sufficient speed and bandwidth needed at 11 branch locations for the Athens Regional Library System.

Internet Service Providers should be able to deliver the following features: Managed Internet service, Static IP address allocation for continued access to IP-based library resources, CIPA compliant content filtering, and monitoring and support of the Internet connection.

The Athens Regional Library System (ARLS) invites vendors to submit proposals in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP provides the requirements and evaluative criteria for Internet services and requests a detailed response from all prospective vendors, including pricing and service descriptions, in a specified format.
