We strive to offer Mouse and Keyboard Skills, Intro to Computers, and Intro to the Internet every month. For absolute novices, we ask that you take these three classes in that order before attempting any other introductory classes.

Mouse & Keyboard Basics
This tutorial is designed to help people who have never used a computer before. We will concentrate on using the mouse, keyboard, and a few other basic skills. Class is hands-on. Limited to 6 participants. Registration is required.
Introduction to Computers
Part 1: Discusses hardware, drives, storage disks, and peripherals. Part 2: Discusses basics of Microsoft Windows 7 and other software. Participants must attend both classes. Limited to 4 participants. Registration is required.
Introduction to Word 2007
Learn the basics of word processing, the parts of a Word Window, files, toolbars, icons, and more. Class is hands-on. Limited to 6 participants. Registration is required.
Introduction to Excel 2007
Learn a few advance techniques that will help you use Excel more effectively. Subjects include: Advanced Formulas, Creating Charts, Conditional Formatting, Removing Duplicates, and more. Limited to 4 participants. Registration is required. Must have knowledge of Excel Basics or have attended Introduction to Excel.
Intermediate Excel 2007
Learn the basics of using Excel, the parts of an Excel Window, creating a spreadsheet, using basic formulas, and more. Limited to 4 participants; registration is required.
Introduction to the Internet
Get started using the internet as we cover Internet Service Providers, Broadband vs. Dial Up, Web Browsers, Navigating/Searching, and Bookmarks. Space in this two-day class is limited to four participants; pre-register at the front desk or by phone.
Introduction to PowerPoint 2007
Learn the basics of using PowerPoint, the parts of a PowerPoint Window, creating a presentation, inserting pictures/spreadsheets, and more. Limited to 4 participants; registration is required.

Digital Camera Basics
Are you a beginner with using digital cameras, or maybe you want to purchase a digital camera in the near future? This class may be perfect for you! Some of the topics covered in this new class will include, but are not limited to:
- Specific terminology to know before you purchase a new digital camera
- How to transfer images from your camera to your home computer
- Photo sharing web sites for free online storage
- Memory cards and their function
- What is photo editing software
- Suggestions for taking better photos
This class is lectured based versus a hands-on training session. You do not need to bring your camera to this class. However, if you have any specific questions related to your camera, the instructor will be available for a half-hour Q&A session following the class.
Windows 7 for Beginners
Learn how to navigate Windows 7 and its features like: Changing Themes and Screensavers, Exploring Files and Folders, Sorting Images, User management, Setting Parental Controls, and more. Limited to 4 participants. Registration is required.
Wireless for Beginners
Learn all about wireless, from terminology to what is needed to set it up in your home. Topics include wireless printing, hotspots, security and more. Free and open to the public.
