Want to know more about The Great War? Want to know why Circle chose THIS show to do NOW? Join us for a lively chat at the Winterville Library!

Dramaturge Bowen Craig will discuss the importance of America’s entry into World War I, and director Joelle Ré Arp-Dunham will talk about the educational and historical aspects of putting on this great show about The Great War at this time in history. Cast members will also be on hand to discuss their journey.


The Circle Ensemble Theatre Company and the City of Winterville begin their historic collaboration with Joan Littlewood’s musical entertainment Oh What a Lovely War! in the historic Winterville Auditorium this month April 20-23.

Circle Ensemble Theatre Company is Athens’ professional not-for-profit theatre company, to be in residence in Winterville, that "offers a vast array of exceptional theatre that elevates the human condition - challenging the intellect, stimulating emotions, reawakening imaginations and encouraging dialogue."
